Mrs. Dodge and Audrey took turns at the switchboard. It was located just over Woodburns Drug Store. Audrey would send me down nearly every night to get us a fountain coke.
I went to the house every morning to get ready for school, I stayed part of the school years with Flora, Archie and Cecil Mae.
The reason I was so long getting to high School was that it was uncertain how I would get there and because of that I had gone to grade school to the 7th and 8th grade and back to the 7th. They only had 8th grade every other year.
I went to school to Hubert, Bonnie and Buster. Archie Fox was my eight grade teacher.
