Mother went up to Mrs. Betty Lantaff's this afternoon but she didn't stay ong because Beulah Franklin and her kids came and also Mrs. Jane Brown. We have been piecing quilts today. I tried to get some goods up here at Utley's Store to set it together but couldn't find any so I called Audrey to send me some by mail. Just heard about the Lindburgh baby being kidnapped with a ransom note on the window sill. $50,000 ransom demanded for the safe return of the Lindburgh baby.
