Revolutionary War USA
Alden Wilkey, soldier of the Revolution from Massachusetts, married Rebecca Davis in 1784 at Dartmouth. They had at least one son. Alden may have died before 1800, as Rebecca Wilkey is listed as head of household in the 1800 Census of Bristol County, Mass.
 
Augustus Wilkie, 1750, enlisted in New York Volunteers as a sergeant in 1776. He reenlisted in 1777 at Schenectady. His home was Charlton, Saratoga County. His application for a pension in 1818 stated that all he owned was a pine chest valued at ten dollars and to be used in his burial. He listed indebtedness of twenty dollars to Jeremiah Wilkie and sixteen dollars to Thomas Wilkie.

If a man was transfered to another unit he was listed for each unit he was in.
"*" by name spelled with "ey" and "ie". This spelling appeared on the National Archives Microfilm Box, Roll, and Record.
